Belinda has chosen beautiful unique, upmarket stays to rest your weary soles at night. During the pilgrims walk you will stay at some of the most beautiful exclusive guest farms in the area, were you will be treated to real Karoo hospitality and wonderful food.

The Stoep

On the first and last nights of your retreats, you will stay over in Nieu Bethesda at Belinda’s guesthouse The Stoep which is situated in the tourist square of the village.

Ganora Guest farm (Compasberg)

The Poplars (Compassberg)

The next Compassberg stay is at the Poplars, a gorgeously restored farmhouse located on the 15 000 hectare Gordonville farm, at the heart of the Sneeuberg Nature Reserve conservancy project in a very remote part of the deep, deep Karoo.

Doornberg (Compasberg)

Doornberg is a very famous karoo sheep farm where you will experience true farmstyle hospitality and cuisine with special hosts, Peet and Hannah Van Heerden. The farm house is hidden among 200-year-old oak trees, with huge gardens creating a true oasis in the Karoo.

Little Africa at Poplar Grove (Erasmuskloof)

Poplar Grove is a very remote off the grid homestead on a working farm. You will be spending 3 nights here on the Erasmuskloof Winter Camino.

Bloemhof Farm (Erasmuskloof)

This stately grand old mansion, build in 1912, used to be an ostrich palace and is still owned by the Murray family. It is one of the stays on the Erasmuskloof Camino. 

The Edge Mountain Retreat (Hogsback)
